EQU 340 - Equine Business Ethics


3 Credits

This course examines the ethical issues and dilemmas that challenge the manager, the organization, and the capitalist system. In addition, the very important issues unique to the equine industry will be examined to increase students' awareness of the ethical dilemmas they might face. These will include questions related to the misuse of horses, the sale of horses, business relationships, and decisions regarding a variety of issues that may not have clear guidelines. Cases, readings, and discussions will integrate ethical reflection with management decision making.
Prerequisites: EQU 301 .
