N 523 - Diagnostic Reasoning

This course introduces the nurse practitioner student to diagnostic reasoning. Previous pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment knowledge is applied to simulated cases. The student will encounter simulated cases through the use of Shadow Health Advanced Pharmacology. Additionally, weekly case discussion will allow the interpretation of diagnostic studies. This course requires purchase of the Shadow Health Pharmacology software for an estimated price of $90 - $110.
