MKT 201 - Retail Merchandising and Management 3 Credits
This course examines strategic retail management as an introduction to the principles and methods of retailing. Emphasis is placed on targeting consumers, store design and location, merchandising, pricing, HR, store operations, and the overall retail strategy. Topics include trends in U.S. and global retailing markets, online retailing, forecasting, financial planning and promotional strategy. Prerequisites: MKT 200 .
