EQU 418 - Equine Massage II: Rehabilitation

This course further explores the implications and concerns of establishing and maintaining a sound healthy horse using equine sports massage. The student will explore the difficulties inherent in the process of restoring and maintaining optimal movement, while developing confidence in the basic skills and learning the application of advanced techniques. Best business practices for careers in equine massage will be addressed. The course will stress safety and concern for the practitioner's health throughout.
Prerequisites: EQU 317 or permission of the Academic Department.
