This course is designed for advanced level English learners seeking to improve their language skills for work, life, and academic success. This course will provide everything an adult-learner will need to achieve academic and career success. Students will focus on establishing listening and speaking strategies at an advanced level such as conversation practices, oral presentations, debates, class discussions, and grammar while assessing extended lectures. Students will also expand their lexicon across a variety of subjects to participate in social, business, and academic communication in English at the advanced level.
