ENG 311 - Creative Writing

3 Credits

This course will introduce students to the fundamental conventions of creative writing. Students will focus on poetry and fiction from the perspective of readers and of writers. Students will also complete exercises that will help them develop their creative writing skills and work towards creating publishable original works of poetry and short fiction. Students will also share their own writing and evaluate their peers' writing in a workshop atmosphere.
Prerequisites: ENG 130.
