COM 335 - Group Communication 3 Credits
This course focuses on the theory and practice of small group communication in both personal and professional settings. Students will examine various group communication processes such as problem-solving, conflict management, decision making, and leadership. The impact of media and technology, as well as cultural influences on group communication practices and processes, will be considered. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking and ethical communication skills as they relate to small group communication contexts. Prerequisites: COM 108 and COM 208 .
