BIO 203L - Anatomy and Physiology I Lab 1 Credits
This course is the Main Campus laboratory companion to BIO 203 Anatomy and Physiology I lecture. Students will use hands-on activities to deepen learning of the structure and function of the human integumentary, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems. Students will be able to identify tissues and microscopic structures in histological samples. Students will become proficient in dissection and careful examination of preserved vertebrate organs and animals in order to identify structures in their natural location and appreciate individual variations. Comparative approaches will be used to emphasize evolutionary origins and to help students gain an intuitive understanding of the interrelationship of form and function. Prerequisites or Co-requisites: BIO 203 . Laboratory fee required.
