Bachelor of Science in Management

Normal Time to Completion: Four Years

This program is offered on Main Campus, online, evenings, and weekends.

The Bachelor of Science in Management Degree (MGT) is designed to prepare the students for the competitive business environment. This program instills in the students the confidence, knowledge and skillset to thrive as a leader and manager in corporations or their own business. The program delivers coursework on organizational leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and strategic planning/decision making. Concentrations available include General Management, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Sport Management. This degree program is programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Bachelor of Science in Management Program Outcomes

1. Leadership - Develop an understanding of Organizational Leadership and demonstrate a variety of leadership skills such as leading change, resolving conflict, motivating others and leading a team within an environment of accountability.

2. Entrepreneurship and Innovation - Show an ability to identify, develop and manage a business opportunity through using sound business practices and innovation.

3. Strategic Planning and Decision Making - Demonstrate the ability to build and implement a business plan with strategic objectives that are relevant and measurable.

4. Business Ethics - Students will examine and apply ethical and professional behaviors to contemporary business situations.

5. Communication - Students will communicate professionally with skills essential to success in the business environment

6. Fundamental Business Concepts - Students will demonstrate the ability to apply the basic concepts of Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, & Economics in a business environment.
