PAD 671 - Law, Ethics, and Administrative Agencies

Administrative agencies play a crucial role in shaping policies, regulations, and standards that govern the operations of criminal justice agencies. This course provides students with a framework to analyze administrative agency decisions and their impact on criminal justice organizations. Students will examine professional standards and accreditation and explore the regulatory authority of administrative agencies with which criminal justice professionals are most likely to interact.
Prerequisites: PAD 601, PAD 610, PAD 616, PAD 625, PAD 634, PAD 645, PAD 656, BUS 530.
