PAD 634 - Public Finance

This course provides a complete review of the financial principles and practices used in public and nonprofit sectors, with the focus on linking theory to practice. Students will learn how to use public and nonprofit sector financial management and budgeting tools through a practical, case-study approach. Emphasis is placed on developing a logical framework for understanding and solving public finance-related problems. The grant process and other forms of public financing will be discussed.
