This course focuses on the applications and implications of 21st information technology for nursing leadership and management. Students will examine the use of electronic data to promote efficiencies, the economics of scale, evidence-based practice, and meaningful use. Students will explore and analyze systems that measure organizational performance, service quality, appropriateness of care delivery, and cost of services. This course includes 30 hours of practice experience activities.
