This course provides students with a history of the evolution of nursing informatics by highlighting several major landmark events that influenced the introduction of technology and information management to the profession of nursing. Students will explore roles, competencies, and skills of Nurse Informaticists within the context of theoretical approaches and metastructures. This course includes 30 hours of practice experience activities. This course requires purchase EHRGo for an estimated price of $45 for 12 weeks.
