N 752PE - Application of Nursing Informatics in Clinical Practice

This course prepares students to apply nursing informatics concepts to clinical practice. Students will explore how strategies for managing issues that occur within and among healthcare systems guide the operation of clinical informatics practices. Implementation and application of informatics in clinical practice will focus on patient safety, ethics, knowledge transfer, telehealth, and workflow issues. This course includes 30 hours of practice experience activities.
