PSY 203 - Adolescent Psychology 3 Credits
Students will examine the biological, psychological, and social transitions that characterize adolescence. A key focus will be to analyze theoretical perspectives and research findings on adolescent development. The impact of puberty, family, peers, culture, media, and technology will be examined. Special attention will be given to contemporary issues and challenges that adolescents face. Prerequisites: PSY 101 and PSY 200 (PSY 200 for Psychology majors only).
