BIO 310 - Developmental Biology 3 Credits
Development occurs as an embryo transforms into a multicellular organism. Individual species of the animal kingdom appear quite different in adult forms, but shared evolutionary relationships are evident during embryological development. This course examines morphogenesis, differential gene expression, and other mechanisms that influence development and connect organisms within the animal kingdom. Prerequisites: BIO 143 BIO 144 , and CHM 115 . BIO 306 recommended.
