Gene regulation and expression is also explored. During this semester, students will look at how genetics affects our understanding of evolutionary processes, and how our knowledge of gene manipulation impacts the future of genomics. Determination of how genetic data can be used in real-life applications to solve problems regarding industrial, medical, and/or energy application will be studied.
