BIO 330 - Molecular Biology 3 Credits
This course examines the principles and ethical implications of molecular biology and biotechnology. Molecular biology is the study of the molecular mechanisms of biological processes. Biotechnology is the application of molecular biology and underlines recent innovations in medicine, agriculture, and other fields. Applications include genetic engineering, therapeutic cloning, genetically modified organisms, gene therapy, genetic testing. Prerequisites: BIO 144 and CHM 115 , or permission of Academic Department.
