CHS 395V - Simulated Intermediate Practicum

This course provides the opportunity to virtually visit early childhood classrooms around the country and the world. Students will observe and reflect upon early childhood professionals demonstrating and discussing course topics, including professional commitment, application of child development and learning theories, developmentally appropriate practice, observation and assessment, and behavior guidance. This course is an alternative to CHS395 Intermediate Practicum; students may earn credit for either CHS395 or CHS395V but not both.
Prerequisites: CHS 199 or CHS 199V, CHS 250, CHS 254, CHS 298 or CHS 298V, PSY 201, a minimum of 2.50 GPA, and approval of site and supervision arrangements.
