CIS 442 - Advanced Cybersecurity

This course will focus on emerging cybersecurity concerns in a seminar format. Students will learn about the following cybersecurity topics, as well as how to protect data from these types of cyber threats: Cryptography, Blockchain, NFTs, Zero Trust, SASE, SDN security, NIST Zero Trust Model, Database security (relational and non-relational), Cloud Native security, IoT security, Sec DevOps, SOAR, Social Media security, and terrorism.
Prerequisites: CIS 222, CIS 244, and CIS 342.
