N 710PE - Learner-Centered Curriculum Design and Learning Outcomes

This course provides an analysis of historical, current, and futuristic trends of curriculum development in nursing education. Students will explore practical applications of culturally sensitive curriculum design, guidelines for curriculum development, implementation, and the evaluation necessary for providing a sound basis of nursing care in the 21st- century global health environment. Students will identify expectations of accrediting bodies. This course includes 30 hours of practice experience activities.
