N 541-CBE - Concepts of Case Management

This course examines the history and evolution of the case manager concept from its inception through current practice models. The role and process of the case manager as an advanced nurse practitioner will be emphasized through various economic, political, cultural, legal, and ethical scenarios. Collaboration between the interdisciplinary team and the case manager nurse in a variety of institutional environments is explored.
Prerequisites: N 501PE-CBE.
