This course provides the theoretical foundation for understanding organizational and systems leadership, quality improvement, and safety within selected healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on strategies for effective change management and communication in quality improvement and patient safety. In addition, ethical, legal, and resource management concepts will be explored. This course includes 30 hours of practice experience activities.
