NUR 330 - Nursing Leadership and Management

This course enables students to develop theoretical and practical knowledge of leadership and management that can be utilized in nursing practice. Students will learn to apply leadership concepts, and skills by demonstrating appropriate delegation, oversight and accountability of care, teambuilding, communication, and collaborative strategies. Emphasis is placed on creating cultures of quality and safety in complex health care delivery systems.
Prerequisites: Nursing Major, Junior standing (61 credits or more).
