ENV 250 - Meteorology

This course provides a general overview of the basic science and concepts in the study and forecasting of weather. Students will learn the scientific foundations of weather, to locate and analyze weather data, to examine the formation of hazardous weather, and assess the role of humans in weather and the climate. The overall goal of this course is to gain the knowledge necessary to analyze weather data and formulate a local weather forecast.
