This course is designed for low-advanced level English learners seeking to improve their language skills for work, life, and academic success. Students will focus on identifying thesis statements, using passive voice, and supporting an argument. This course will help students in developing their reading skills such as understanding chronological organization, scanning text to locate information, and using a dictionary to expand vocabulary. Students will be able to practice writing paragraphs, analyze information, construct essays, and apply new skills to real-life situations.
