COM 301 - Mass Media and Society 3 Credits
This course explores the ever-evolving relationship between mass media and society. Students will examine how mass media industries are structured, operate, and how they influence individuals, culture, and society. Emphasis will be placed on exploring the history, evolution, and cultural impact of each mass media industry including print, sound, moving picture, and new media.
