BIO 230 - Microbiology

Microbes are everywhere and play a variety of roles, both bad and good. Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms such as viruses, bacteria, yeast, and protists. In this course students explore the structure, function, and classification of microbes, as well as microbial diseases and the response of the immune system.
Prerequisites: BIO 143, BIO 144.
Laboratory fee required.
