BIO 203L - Anatomy and Physiology I Lab 1 Credits
This course is the main campus laboratory companion to BIO 203 lecture. Hands-on activities will be used to deepen student learning of the structure and function of the human integumentary, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems. Activities will include identification of tissues and microscopic structures in histological samples and dissection and careful examination of preserved vertebrate organs and animals to appreciate individual variations. Comparative approaches will be used to emphasize evolutionary origins and to help students gain an intuitive understanding of the interrelationship of form and function. Prerequisites: BIO 143L and BIO 144L . Laboratory fee required.
