The online Master of Business Administration Healthcare (MBA-HC) offers a graduate-level exploration and understanding of the business of healthcare. This program offers the learning experiences students could use to develop skills and insights for implementing cost savings and efficiencies throughout a healthcare organization. Coursework for this advanced degree covers financial accounting, health services management, risk management, performance improvement, modern healthcare organizations, and more.
This program is not designed to fulfill the educational requirements for any licensure or certification. Post University does not speak on behalf of any licensing board or body but does assist students in understanding licensure requirements.
The Master of Business Administration Healthcare is offered in two different modalities (methods of delivery) term based and SIMPath (competency based). The learning outcomes and level of difficulty are the same for both modalities. The term based modality allows students to take courses in a traditional format. The SIMPath modality allows students to move through each course at their own pace, demonstrating a mastery of skills utilizing an array of methods. The program is adapted to teach the curriculum as it applies to the healthcare sector.
