EQU 311 - Communication for the Equine Professional

This course provides a basis for the evaluation and effective use of information specific to the varied needs of the equine professional. The student will develop skills related to inquiry, analysis, and organization of information. The value of reflection and revision for clear written and oral communication is emphasized throughout. The course also connects these skills to effective decision-making and professional practice in the industry, concluding with the preparation of a substantive literature review that investigates a topic of the student's choice.
Prerequisites: ENG 205, EQU 301 and Junior Status
