LAW 205 - Legal Research

3 Credits

Students are introduced to the process of finding the law and will become familiar with various sources of law. Materials surveyed include sources of constitutional, statutory, and case law as well as administrative regulations. In addition to locating sources through computer assisted legal research methods, students will learn strategies for ensuring research results reflect current information as changes in the law occur. Research assignments acclimate students to the legal research process.
Prerequisites: LAW 101.
