BIO 226 - Botany

Plants play a role in our everyday lives and are a critical component of the biosphere. Botany is a study of the diversity of plants. This course will focus on the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of plants, as well as the metabolic processes. The evolution of plants will be explored in terms of domestication and medicinal uses within human society.
Prerequisites: BIO 144.
