HSV 572 - Human Sexuality

This course provides a foundation in human sexuality, focusing on the psychological, sociocultural, and physiological variables associated with sexual identity, sexual disorders, and sexual behaviors. This course also examines the clinical aspects of sexual dysfunction and difficulty according to the DSM 5. Students will furthermore explore their unique attitude and perception about sexuality as a basis for working with individuals and families as a helping professional.
