CIS 241 - Python Programming 3 Credits
This course equips a motivated student with little or no prior programming experience with a working knowledge of the Python programming language and the Pandas package, for descriptive data analytics and library functions. Covers data types, control structures, functions, parameter passing, library functions, arrays, inheritance, and object-oriented design. This course will provide a pragmatic and hands-on introduction to the Python programming language, with a focus on practical applications and lab activities, rather than theoretical topics. Prerequisites: CIS 216 .
