A Pre-Athletic Trainer Track will provide foundational knowledge, and the practical experience needed to pursue a career as a certified athletic trainer. Athletic trainers are multi-skilled health care professionals that work in a variety of settings. The National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA.org) has predicted that athletic training is a growing profession with faster-than-average growth.
This track will prepare students to meet the academic requirements for admission into CAATE (Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education) approved graduate programs in athletic training. Students may be pursuing any degree program. This track is offered on campus.
