Students in the RN to BSN must already be licensed as an RN to be accepted for admission and must maintain an active and unencumbered RN license throughout their enrollment in the program. This program is not designed to fulfill the educational requirements for any licensure or certification. Post University does not speak on behalf of any licensing board or body but does assist students in understanding licensure requirements.
Visit the State Authorization and Licensure page for more information.
The RN to BSN program is offered in two different modalities (methods of delivery): term-based and SIMPath (competency based). The learning outcomes and level of difficulty are the same for both modalities. The term based RN to BSN program allows students to take courses in a traditional format. The RN to BSN SIMPath is a competency-based approach that allows students to move through each course at their own pace, demonstrating a mastery of skills utilizing an array of methods.
