HRM 411 - Seminar in Human Resource Management 3 Credits
This course challenges students to apply human resource management principles to real-world organizational issues through an ethical and strategic lens. Students will analyze HR data, evaluate potential solutions, and develop evidence-based recommendations to address complex workplace challenges. Emphasis is placed on ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally. The course culminates in a final project where students present their analysis and recommendations in both written and presentation formats. Prerequisites: HRM 201 and completion of three or more 300-level HRM courses.
