BIO 212 - Introduction to Kinesiology

This course provides an introduction to kinesiology, the study of human movement, and its applications in health, fitness, sports, and rehabilitation. Students will explore fundamental concepts in anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and motor learning, gaining insights into how the body moves and responds to physical activity. Emphasis will be placed on movement analysis, injury prevention, and performance optimization. Through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and applied assessments, students will develop foundational skills for careers in sports science, physical therapy, athletic training, and related fields.
