MGT 221 - Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation

This course focuses on exploring and creating new venture ideas. Students will study the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and will learn how to identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities. The course will also provide students with an understanding of the business skills needed to implement new ventures and the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and action as it relates to entrepreneurial ventures. The emphasis will be on creativity and innovation in new venture creation and selling the idea to a hypothetical group of investors/lenders.
