BUS 321 - Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

This course focuses on the procurement elements of supply chain management. Purchasing is also known as the buy discipline of the make-buy decision process within supply chain management or as outsourcing. This course will build upon the introductory elements of purchasing studied in BUS320 Principles of Supply Chain Management. Students will study, assimilate, and apply purchasing operations and structure, strategic sourcing, strategic sourcing process, critical supply chain elements, and future strategic initiatives.
