SCI 315 - Writing in the Sciences

3 Credits

This course will enhance lab report/research writing, science blog, site assessments, and professional interview skills. The final component of the class will involve learning to research peer-reviewed scientific literature and compose a properly cited scientific research paper and presentation. Students will expand their use of writing tools and technology as they develop a modern scientific writing style and learn to assemble evidence-based research findings.
Prerequisites: COM 107, ENG 110, ENG 130, and a science laboratory course.
